We had our annual visit… well, one of them… with Santa and truthfully it was one of the best we have had! First off, it was quiet so we didn’t need to wait in line. For those that have children, let alone children on the autism spectrum, you can appreciate what I am saying here. Our visits with Santa are not always this enjoyable after having to wait in line for 20 minutes or so…. by that time, no one wants their picture taken!
Bean, Ollie and Santa… 2012

Santa took a particular shine to Ollie, Bean’s service dog. He requested a picture with him alone after Bean’s visit was done. Usually the malls have a day where people come in with their pets to have pictures taken with Santa… well, I guess this year that won’t be happening. So Santa had said that Ollie would likely be the only dog that he would get to see and was very taken by him…as you can see in the picture.
For everything at the end, I got a huge hug from Santa to say thank you for allowing for that special moment for him. It was really very touching! I really do love Christmas and all the fun of the season.
So, from Mom-ology… and me… I would like to wish my readers a very Merry Christmas… and Happy Holidays… I wish you all the best for 2013…. and may all your dreams come true!

Precious story about Santa and Ollie. I guess when you live with reindeer, you miss furry creatures while entertaining children.
Merry Christmas, Jen!
